Commercial
We are employed by many customers in the Commercial Construction Industry. We are unique to our customers because we offer the ability to provide the complete steel package for our customers and we are capable of providing the installation of all steel fabricated in our shop through our crane and rigging division. We have been contracted to provide some of the following services:

Communications
Suffolk Iron Works is contracted by SIW Communications to provide fabrication services for customers in the Telecommunications Industry. We cater to specific needs such as:
- Crane & Rigging services
- Weld portals for monopoles
- Design, Fabrication and Installation of Bracket and Support Fixtures for satellites
Electric Utility
Suffolk Iron Works, Inc. has been working with electric utility companies for quite some time. Over the years, we have become very qualified in meeting the specific needs of power plants. Tasks performed for Electric Utility Clients includes the following areas but is not limited to this listing:

We understand the importance of outage needs and go to great lengths to man up to meet our customers critical path requirements. Over the past several years, we have been extensively involved in co-generation and fossil fuel facilities. Our team works closely with outage coordinators. We fully understand the tremendous importance of completing outages in the timeframe allotted and make sure our teams are properly manned to meet the outage requirements
Agricultural
Over the years, Suffolk Iron Works, Inc. has provided many customers in the agricultural industry with the design fabrication and installation of large bulk handling conveying systems. WE have met local plant needs with our expertise in the peanut, corn and soybean agricultural products for our customers. Our expertise has been used for the installation as well as repairs and maintenance to:

Concrete Aggregate Production
Suffolk Iron Works, Inc. has been utilized by customers in the concrete aggregate production industry to fabricate and install production equipment as well as to meet their repairs and maintenance needs. Specific examples of jobs include but are not limited to:
- Conveying systems for aggregate, sand, rocks, etc.
- Silo installation

- Repair and Maintenance of equipment within the plants
Food Processing Industry
Suffolk Iron Works, Inc. has been in the Food Processing industry for over 100 Years. Our knowledge in this industry encompasses a variety of companies ranging from coffee plants and peanut plants to hog processing plants. Suffolk Iron Works is very astute with regards to FDA standards and we adhere to those requirements while performing our job. We have been involved in the following jobs for our customers in this industry:
- Line Change Outs
- Installation of new lines
- Emergency Repairs
- Normal Scheduled Repairs and Maintenance
We understand the importance of the shutdowns our customers undergo and the need for us to comply to the very tight timelines during these outages. We also quickly respond to their breakdown needs for repairs and maintenance. We are work closely with the plant engineers to schedule capital projects for equipment change outs or the installation of new product lines.
