has an extensively equipped machine shop
ready for your special project. Many of the parts that are made in this shop are one of a kind, never made before and, in many cases, never to be made again. Skilled, trained hands and eyes when provided with the proper tools are capable of doing the special things your job requires. Material Handling Systems
Suffolk Iron Works specializes in the design, fabrication and installation of conveying systems. Suffolk Iron Works builds with belt conveyors, idler conveyors, bucket elevators, screw conveyors, vibratory conveyors, drag conveyors, and chain conveyors. Suffolk Iron Works is a stocking distributor of screw conveyor components.
Steel Fabrication
Suffolk Iron Works is a job shop. WE can meet our customer’s needs from design to fabrication and installation. Our welders are AWS certified. We can fabricate one or two units or a number of units to extremely tight specs within our production area following specific quality control specs. We have the flexibility to assist customers with problems by using our in-house detailing staff or by coordinating with outsourced detailers depending upon the specific needs of our customer.
Suffolk Iron Works is able to produce shop drawings to the specifications of our customers. The Fabrication can be tied straight to the plant installation if required. Suffolk Iron Works is capable of doing field verification. Some examples of steel fabrication we are capable of include:

Welding
Suffolk Iron Works offers a full line of welding services, from one run custom fabrication to production welding in our ever-expanding fabrication shop. Our experienced welders work with both ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel, AR plate, stainless, and aluminum.

- GMAW (mig)
- GTAW (tig)
- FCAW (fluxcore)
- Pulsed mig
- Stud welding
- Silver braze
Our field service crews provide onsite welding of structural steel, sheet metal and industrial piping as well as emergency equipment repair.
